| launched in 2003, This is a fifty two inch long sharpie
made of pine "Lattuce" leftover Okuome plywood for the deck,
and a lot of epoxy. I didn't really make a drawing to go by except for a
pair of cardboard patterns for the sides sprung around frames to test
the shape. This is how I imagine the real sharpies were made sort-of by
rule of thumb. She has semi patriotic sails and a removable fin keel
that goes in the "Centerboard trunk". |
