| Ketch with rotating wing masts from about 1992 the year Clinton was elected. (This is how I remember) Looking at this picture now (December 06) I remember how concerned I was at the time that the rotating wing masts would bend too much so I added these brass wires to stiffen them even though they're like a quarter inch thick by about three quarter inch or so. I also remember I had to replace the keel fin a bunch of times because it was twisted being made of some cheap maple. She did sail very respectably being made of light balsa and with a deep bulb and fin keel. I think she was around thirty two inches on deck. |
