A short Video of the "Riptide"
| This is my rendition of an old Vintage Marblehead design
from the early fifties called "Riptide". The Marblehead class rules specify a length of
fifty inches and a sail area of eight hundred square inches so everyone
is on the same playing field. I made my own Cad plans based on a small
drawing in the Vintage Model Yacht Group web site. I've been racing her since 2001 with some success. (Sold, 2006) |
